Day 5 – March 3
Symantec
Security School
Yesterday’s quest for fame has been replaced by smaller and targeted attacks with the intention of making money. In 2010, more than 245 million infection attempts were detected per month with over 90% trying to steal confidential information. We start the day with a security school where we, in a straightforward and educational way, tell you about the current threat landscape. We give you an overview of where a network is most vulnerable and how the company can best protect itself.
Symantec Altiris
Symantec’s Altiris platform has taken a big step forward with version 7. We show the new management console where you get a good overview of your computers, installed software, inventory information and also the opportunity to follow up your licenses.
News from Symantec
In this session we will cover the most relevant news from Symantec regarding the backup and antivirus products.
Mobile device management
The pace of change is rapid and more and more corporate information is now available via mobile devices. At the same time, more and more users are acquiring mobile devices that connect to the network. In this session, we will look at how companies can ensure that information does not fall into the wrong hands.
Evening activity
For those who are interested and able, the day ends with a nice evening activity (food + MODO’s home match).
