Report from the Jimba school project

We have received a greeting from Jimba, Kenya regarding the school project that we are involved in. With the support they have received from us, they have now built walls and a roof for the school canteen.

Some of the walls for the school kitchen have also been completed, but during March to May 2018, Kenya received large amounts of rain that temporarily halted the project. Unfortunately, parts of the kitchen walls collapsed during the rain, but the reconstruction is now underway.

The children’s food is still cooked as it always has been, over an open fire.

A real kitchen would make the work much easier and we hope that the children will soon have a real dining room where they can eat their meals.
